Who I am
This blog (goguma.blog) is a personal project managed by Goguma, a Spanish citizen living in South Korea. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach me at [email protected].
What data is collected
Goguma is a personal blog and collects the minimum amount of data possible:
- Server logs: as with any website, the hosting provider (Netcup) automatically records basic technical data for each visit, such as IP address, browser type, and date/time of access. This is standard and necessary for the operation and security of the site.
- Web analytics: this blog uses Matomo, a self-hosted analytics tool running on my own servers. It operates in cookieless mode, meaning no tracking cookies are installed on your device. Visit data is anonymised and not shared with third parties.
- Fonts: the typefaces used on this blog are served locally from our own servers. No external requests are made to Google Fonts or any other third-party service.
- Comments (if enabled): if you leave a comment, the name and email you provide in the form will be saved. This data is used solely to display the comment and is not shared with third parties.
- Cookies: this blog does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be used to ensure the site functions correctly.

Goguma may include a link or button to Buy Me a Coffee (BMC), an independent third-party service for anyone who wishes to voluntarily support the blog.
By clicking that button, you leave goguma.blog and access the BMC platform, where their own terms of service and privacy policy apply.
I do not receive, manage, or store any payment data or financial information. All of that is handled directly by BMC.
I recommend reviewing BMC’s privacy policy before using their platform.
Who data is shared with
I do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. The only third parties or services involved are:
- Netcup (hosting provider) — processes server technical logs. Netcup GmbH is located in Germany, within the European Union, under GDPR legislation.
- Matomo (web analytics) — self-hosted on my own servers. Being self-hosted, data does not leave my servers or get shared with any third party.
- Cloudflare — acts as a CDN and firewall between visitors and the server. Cloudflare may temporarily process visitor IPs to protect the site against attacks. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Buy Me a Coffee — only if you voluntarily choose to use that service.
Your rights
If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right under the GDPR to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data.
If you are a resident of South Korea, you have similar rights under the PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act).

Language and translations
This policy is originally published in Spanish. The English and Korean versions are translations assisted by artificial intelligence tools. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, there may be nuances or inaccuracies inherent to the automated translation process. In case of doubt or discrepancy between versions, the original Spanish content shall prevail.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated in the future, for example if I add additional analytics tools, comments, or advertising. Any relevant changes will be reflected on this page with the date of the last update.
